Don’t do it. The reason that you can drill through the face of a beam in the center is because the bending stress is essentially zero there. If you drill from the top to the bottom, you’re removing the portions that carry the brunt of the loading (the top and bottom of the beam).

Drilling through or even into the bottom half could release the tension & be major problems. Through the vertical legs, yes absolutely & no problem. But, in a long span, not a good idea at all. The span is about 4 meter and this beam supports one edge of the slab on top of it.

Is it OK to screw into a support beam?
A screw will do absolutely NOTHING to secure that column. Any kind of load against the screw will tear it out like the beam was made out of tissue paper. So do not screw into anything. All you will do is weaken the girder.
