In such configurations, where two hot wires feeding separate circuits share a common neutral wire, the hot wires must be connected to different hot bus bars. This is impossible to do with tandem breakers.
Can you put a GFCI outlet on a tandem breaker?
Installing a gfci outlet on a branch circuit supplied by a tandem breaker shouldn’t create any issue. You can install additional normal outlets downstream of the gfci wired to the gfci outlet’s “load” side to gfci protect them.
Can you use a GFCI outlet with a shared neutral?
