Can you control multiple LED light strips together?

All of our LED light strip controllers are capable of controlling multiple LED light strips that are all hooked up to the same receiver and power source, but some LED controllers can only control multiple LED light strips if they’re all hooked together.

Can strip lights be joined?





You can connect a number of LED strips together with the upper limit depending on the strip’s power output and your power source. Strip lights can be connected using connectors, cables or by soldering the connection joints.

Can LED strip lights be daisy chained?

In other words, you can use a 12V power supply to power a 4-ft section of 12V LED strip lights with another 3-ft section of 12V LED strip lights daisy-chained.

The requirements of a lighting application often dictate what type of circuit can be used, but if given the choice, the most efficient way to run high power LEDs is using a series circuit with a constant current LED driver. Running a series circuit helps to provide the same amount of current to each LED.

Is it better to connect LED in parallel or series?

Generally speaking, most LED lighting uses a series-parallel combination. Ideally, for reliability and lighting consistency, it would be best to have one strip of LEDs all wired in series to a constant current driver.

Is it better to wire lights in series or parallel?

Connecting electrical devices and appliances like fan, outlet, light bulbs etc in parallel is a prefer way instead of series wiring. Parallel or series-parallel wiring method is more reliable instead of series wiring.
