I’ve had success gluing a printed PLA part to PVC using a glue from Selleys called All Plastic Fix. It’s a two step procedure where you use a priming pen/marker on both areas to be joined then simply apply the cyanoacrylate glue to one side and hold pressure on the join for around 30 secs.

What glues work with PVC?

Plasticized PVC = PVC is best bonded with either cyanoacrylates or UV Curable adhesives. There are various grades of cyanoacrylates available. Flexible grades such as 2050 and 731 are ideal for bonds in which the flexibility needs to be maintained.

If you decide to glue the PLA pieces with epoxy you will have 3 extra advantages: You’ll get a stronger bond than with conventional adhesives and glues. You can fill small gaps if the two bonding surfaces are not flat enough or cracks remain.

Does contact cement work on PLA?

Does acetone dissolve PLA?

Will epoxy bond to PVC?
