What happens is that the serial connection of the glow lamp clamps the circuit even when you turn the switch off. This, in turn, causes a low voltage drop to appear to LED driver, and as a result the LED bulb glows weakly. Apart from this, there are two other reasons because of which LED bulbs may glow even when off.

Why do LED lights shut off?
It’s most likely the power supply/transformer if it’s older than 3 to 5 years. If your power supply is outside or in a place where there isn’t much air circulation, it will deteriorate more quickly.
